Older gentleman driving it in the slow lane, looked complete and well taken care of. How many of these were made?? The Shelby Dakota truck was built for just one model year, 1989. There were appoximately 500 white trucks and 1,000 red trucks built. All were built with the 318 V8 motor with the A500 automatic transmission.
