Driving the GT500KR

Mine comes out every couple of weeks. I'll drive it for two or three days, maybe 200-300 miles, clean it off & cover it back up again for another couple of weeks. I've had mine to about 130, but I usually drive it like an old fart going to church. If it has to sit for longer than two weeks, I'll put the little battery charger on overnight before my drive. I've read of too many GT-500s having alternators go out, and suspect it's due to having to recharge run down batteries.

Man you guys are pissing me off. :angry22:

Mine is sitting in my garage on a battery tender waiting for the frozen tundra to melt and Spring to return.

In the driving season, I drive mine every weekend. Usually 30 to 50 miles a weekend going to cruise night, Hapkido on Saturday mornings and just farting around Saturday afternoon.

I drive my KR every day! It's my "every day car". I couldn't be just one day without driving my baby.

And I had it up to a rushing over 150 mph in Germany. There are no speed limits on the highways

It's such a GREAT car
