The story of my life

I lived near Infineon Raceway from 1982 to 2009. About 15 years ago I purchased my first Shelby. SAAC was located on the east coast. Seemed like all the good Shelby events were on the east coast.

Now I live in Florida, the east coast. Now all the big events are near the west coast!!!

I can not win for loosing. :banghead:

SAAC-36 (Memorial Day Weekend 2011) is being held at VIR shift.gif

Is that close enough to the East Coast???

Try living right smack in the middle of everything (Kansas City)...

No matter the coast or event, most SAAC sponsored events are always 1,000+ miles away from me...

Or at the wrong time of the year for my work schedule finger.gif

Haven't been to a SAAC event since they were held at Mid-Ohio (1980's)...

Yes, I do attend Mid-America in Tulsa, and ShelbyFest in Hermann, MO...

But the others are all at the wrong time of the year for me... Which is why the Bash in early January (even at 1,300 miles each way) actually fits into my yearly schedule of events...

However, this year SAAC might just work out... As Memorial Day Weekend is typically NOT a busy period for us...

Oh and I'm still trying to make it to your annual shindig as well salute.gif

The East coast (PA) is getting an event next May - www.poniesinthepoconos.com I know that isn't close to you, but I will say that we are in negotiations for an event a little closer to you. I can't promise that it will come together for 2011, but don't make all your plans for 2012 yet!

More info to come - stay tuned.
