lqqkngr8
How many amps does the stock alternator have on a 07 gt 500.
justindewoody
The stock alternator (beginning with the 2010 MY) has a Nippon-Denso 130 amp alternator. Prior to that, I believe it was a 120 amp alternator...but NOT a Nippon-Denso.
JPEAJV
Interesting... a lot of people had there alternator keel over on them. There was a big controversey whether or not it was lower pulley related. I have a 2010 and was going to upgrade the alternator after my lower pulley install. If what your saying is correct then I might just wait and see if I have a problem. Maybe Ford recognized the problem and thats why they changed? 1badsho
Same here ... my alt on my 07 GT500 failed with about 38000 miles. I was just about to pull the trigger for the ESP premium care warranty before I hit 40,000 miles .... was about a mth late I heard the same thing ... that these alternators tend to fail early
