2BIGFRED
I use 93 super but all places here have 10% ethanol. What do you guys with SCs do? Should we use octane boost or is the 93 fuel good enough? I wish I had a place that sold no ethanol but I do not.

SoDakMac
The instructions that came with my Whipple 550 say not to use ethanol fuel blends. I can get 91 octane without ethanol in my area. I never see 93.
tedj
So now that EPA has given the go ahead for 15% ethanol, what are we to do? Will Ford honor the warranty if the feds allow refiners to create a fuel that we are not supposed to use and it becomes the only thing available? springer
Tune the car for 91 octane not 93. We have 93 octane here in Texas, but many states don't - hence my tune is for 91 octane. I truly doubt that for 99% of your driving, you would ever notice a difference in performance between a car tuned for 91 octane vs 93. ( I have the Whipple 550 kit.)
