Troy Reed
Seriously, $10K? I saw this car at "The Taste of Morgan Hill" event a few weeks ago. It is absolutely beautiful.....especially under the hood. There's a Shelby Snake painted under the hood....really cool looking. Didn't see the owner at the show...would have been interesting to hear more about how he obtained the vehicle.
Cali_KR
Seriously, $10K? It is another Eleanor, 10k, plus 2.5 years and how much money to complete (as stated in the article)...no thanks. I can find you a genuine late Shelby (1969-1970) for 60-70k easily, with way more upside..
09KR0058
I'm curious as to how it look before he started the restoration. I'd really like to see some before-and-after pictures.

I can find you a genuine late Shelby (1969-1970) for 60-70k easily, with way more upside.. "To my surprise, an 84-year-old neighbor who lives just a few blocks from me had a 1967 Shelby for sale. I bought it for $10,000, and it felt like I had won the lottery. I decided to restore my Shelby, and the project took two-and-a-half years to complete. " "It is another Eleanor, 10k, plus 2.5 years and how much money to complete (as stated in the article)...no thanks." No mention that its an Eleanor? If he did buy it for $10K he stole it, good for him.
shelbymotorsports
That "article" was written by the cars owner. Way too many unanswered questions. Steve
