0201212
So would that be a driving record or a low flying record???
sportscars
For the standing mile the ultimate record right now is 324 I think. The record for a production car is 257 (last I heard).
Revan Racing
If anybody would like to purchase some Heli Tape for the Texas Mile please send me an email. Heli Tape is what is used by Indy Cars and NASCAR during qualifying. It's also used to repair holes in helicopter blades. Thus the name Heli Tape. We have been using it on a number of cars for the last 4 mile events I have attended and have picked up 2 to 5 MPH just because of taping off certain areas. A lot of people use painters tape and I am sure it works to a point. Just wanted to throw it out there if anybody would like for me to bring them a roll. 2" Roll $100 4" Roll $185 Best of all you can pick it up from me at the mile (no shipping). Best of all it is thicker than painters tape so it reduces rock chips and it removes quickly and easily with no residue. Send me an email if you are interested. Holes in the blades!!!!!!! :eek5: What the heck would a helicopter hit to cause holes in the blades. Great idea Van. I'll be sure to use when I give the mile a try.
