Engine break in procedure

Recommended Posts

Since delivery is getting VERY close now, hopefully in weeks if not days, I was wondering if anyone had insight on proper break in procedures for the GT350.

I guess while we are at it, is there a difference between breaking it in with a SC and without? :headscratch:

Warren,

By the time they get through pulling them in out for all of the individuals up grades there should be plenty of engine run time on them.:hysterical:

Drive it like you stole it...

It's 2010, well in your case... 2011. A break-in period is an antiquated notion.

Agreed, tolerances on modern engines and transmissions are all CNC controlled. They do not require a set like the old days.

Drive it like you are going to drive it.

Yeah, just got official word on break in procedure:

Step one- right foot down

Step two- hold on

step three- when red needle hits the redline, shift.

Im glad the break in is so easy to follow! :hysterical:

:happy feet:
