Grabber
I had to load Google earth on my computer last night to see that parking lot. The free version that is. Pretty cool.
Grabber
I'd check the back bumper, looks like a small scratch on the top pass. side? The program does not get close enough to see any detail at all on the cars. They look like colored squares from a mile up.
Grabber
That is because you did not subscribe to Google Earth!!! Your kidding....Right?
ColdwaterHotrod
Your kidding....Right? The free version is 1 -3 year old photos. the paid for one is real time.
ColdwaterHotrod
Without the subscription, when I googled my house it was at least 10 years old! Rob could be looking at '97-'98 model Mustangs! Don't tell him though it could be the straw that breaks the camels back! Did they make GO back then? ColdwaterHotrod
From a mile up you can't tell the difference that much. They are all shades of gray. If he gets off his butt and subscribes we wouldn't be in this predicament (sp?)When I spell checked this it told me Coldwater was not a word!!! You have to change your name now. Can I make a suggestion?... EvilRod... J/K SCGT500

Grabber
Ilstang, You got that one correct! Looks like you win 2 Hero cards for that one! CWHR wins just one as his town was correct but did not get the actual placement correct. Grabber, If you get the google earth down pat and swing the camera to 318 deg and at the correct angle you can see there is slightly less than 2 gallons of fuel in tank on gas gauge. (your car) seeing as though I do not want to muddy up the waters on Grabbers post and update will happen on yours calibrated with google earth around 9:51am pacific TTB, I do not know how to do that. Grabber
Grabber, Sorry, I had to explain it over phone to Ilstang maybe he can explain it better. Thats what happens when you assume something it makes an asx out of U & me. I posted directions on how to set Google earth in the other post. Once Ilstang got his settings correct we had same picture. By the way whats the weather like in Michigan now as it appears the top is down on your car :banana piano: TTB, I figured out how to google the parking lot. I see the lot. I have a Coupe. so it can rain for all I care.

Grabber
Appears I googled the car next to yours? Anyway here is a Google map of your cars planned route. The coordinates are in lower left corner. (this is sample as current coordinates are where my mouse happened to be when I hit print) Thanks for the route. Can you really see my car ? tispco
Wow! I guess I did something wrong or Grabber's car is very wet right now. I put in 42.06019N, 83.150314W from the first post and that placed Grabber's Shelby in Lake Erie off Sturgeon Bar. I hope that is not true!!

Son of GT
Okay Son of GT I can't let it go any longer...what the hell is the picture in your sig. we can't make it out?? I'm working on enlarging it, but its giving me a hard time (sounds like a commercial for Viagra). The picture is a GT500 with a Cobra hovering above it in a Sepia type finish. I'll work on the picture tonight. Stay tuned.
tispco
If you are on Google maps you need exact position as stated. re-read post (unless you were going a bit east intentional) If you put the numbers in from my post, which I believe match what you posted for Grabber's Shelby, you will be in Lake Erie. I thought it was pretty funny. I'll reread the post and try again, but I am not sure what I did wrong.
