6-Speed Posted May 23, 2010 Report Share Posted May 23, 2010 I understand that some have successfully used a T-50 Torx bit to loosen those bolts; I have also heard the correct size is a Torx-plus, probably a T-50+. I have a set of plus bits and comparing with the standard Torx, it looks like the teeth are a bit wider on the plus bits. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
chuck Posted May 23, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 23, 2010 And I think I can now confirm it should be a torx 50-plus. I was able to get a Torx 50 to do the job, although it was a sloppy fit.
