I did something similar with my Kona Blue/White GT500.

 

I put the 1/4" red stripe accents on both sides of the OTT stripes (rather than the single middle one like yours) and then I put a 1/8" red accent stripe under/over the side rocker stripes (not the 1/4" accents like I put on the OTT stripes). The thinner rocker stripe accents give it a more 'subtle' look with the smaller side stripes.

 

It really makes the stripes "pop". I also put side scoops on mine to add to the "Shelby" look of old.
