cmolinaro78
Good morning guys. I have a quick question. When I bought my SGT few weeks back, the car has the hood pins, but does not have the wire that goes from underneath the hood to the hood pins. Any idea on cost and where to purchase these? Thanks

Thanks Any hardware store should have the cables, and the aluminum crimpers, or go to your auto parts store and buy the whole kit for 20.00 and that will have the cables in it. Should be two holes already drilled in your radiator support, just pop-rivet those there.
ShelbyGT/SC
You might just find that the dealer tucked them under the raidiator cover so that people wouldn't pop the hood with the pins in.
cmolinaro78
No luck under the hood. Basically I'm mechanically retarded, any ideas if any vendors online sell what I'm looking for?

cmolinaro78
Great thank you! I guess 24" should be long enough correct? This company sells hood pin cables. SGT0225
Great thank you! I guess 24" should be long enough correct? I don't wanna sound pro-business, but the SHELBY STORE sells replacement packages. SGT hood pin kits are 64.95 AND are currently 10% off with coupon code. I had a mechanic dumby pop my hood with the pins in. What an idiot. I hate that

I hate that +1 I would by the authentic replacements as I'm sure your pads will need replacement one day so why not get them now?
