2006 proto types for sale

Recommended Posts

There are 2 2006 GT-H Proto types for sale this weekend at Barrett Jackson. One is the the 2006 GT-H that was at the Shelby museum and the other is a 2006 GT-H convertible. I didn't even know they made a prototype 2006 convertible.

I was really surprised that they are selling the SR prototype I wish I could get my hands on that car even though it has been beat the crap out of by Gary.hysterical.gif

Now I am BUMMED OUT that ROGER never ever gave me a price qoute on getting my SGT converted into a SGT/SR I really would have got my car converted I emailed him once a week for 2 months but he kept telling me that he was waiting to hear from upper management and he NEVER got back to me on a price. banghead.gif Now it looks like they dropped the project

Anybody know the details on these cars? Are they sticks or automatics? How many miles on them....ect, ect. The Barrett Jackson site gives no details so where can I get info?

I got out to Shelby today and got the "low down" from Roger regarding these two cars. Verrrrrry Interesting. Anyway, the 06 GT-H proto type that was on display at Shelby is gone, so is the Dodge and the Series 1. All gone to Barrett Jackson in Floridia. I know this might sound a little strange, but, I felt a little sad to walk into the museum and see no GT-H on display. I guess I can't live in the past but I feel the GT-H is a diamond in the rough (or maybe just a diamond and no rough). I think it will be a real future classic and the fact that it is no longer at the museum kinda makes me sad.

Ok, bring on the next classic, whose got a KR for cheap?????

I watched last night hoping to see what they went for. They only ran the Dodge Shadow CSX T (Thrifty Rental car). I think it went for $12K.

I am shocked that they are selling the GT H prototypes. Seems almost irreverant. I just hope whoever gets it / them appreciates the history they are purchasing. These cars started the Shelby resurgence and made it really come alive for us old timers and the next generation.

The GT-H's will sell on Saturday. They are in the 600 numbers, see the first post above.
