90GT
It was a nice day for a drive so I took her out for some pics. Car is so much fun to drive, I absolutely love it!!! :happy feet: I have a few complaints like having to reach behind the seat to get the seat belt and crappy shifter. The Hurst shifter is on my mod list for sure but first I'll be taking care of the suspension. Then wheels/tires and then a CAI/tune. For now I drive her every chance I get, just trying to restrain myself from standing on the throttle until the break in period is over.
GT500KR
Nice, almost impossible to make that car look bad, keepher clean!
moabman
That is a real beauty! "The Ghost" I am so jealous of your weather. Ours went to pieces right when I took delivery and it's supposed to be lousy all the way through the weekend We had a break and I got the new wheels on but it drizzled on the way home so I had to wash it in the rain before I put it up. I've only got 127 on the clock and 54 of those were getting it home. How about you?
RUFDRAFT
Great pics!! Time for Zaino!! :happy feet: She's looking good. Moab - have you posted pics of your new rims??
GT500KR
Very nice 90! :happy feet: I hate the seat belt thing too. Not to change subjects. but changing subjects. That seat belt issue is a pain, does anyone make an after market seat beltloop like the 04 had?
GT500KR
The problem I think is the airbag? Oh...... good point!

What sucks is the weather here will be more winter like the rest of this week so the car may spend most of the time tucked away in the garage. Grabber
I have a few complaints like having to reach behind the seat to get the seat belt and crappy shifter. I know what you mean about the seat belt reach, it is not ergo friendly. Our shifter in the GT/CS seems to work just fine. Shifting and syincros work smoothly. How come you feel it is "Crappy" ? Shifting and syincros work smoothly. How come you feel it is "Crappy" ? The throws are fine but it has a very vague or disconnected feel to it. Kind of like your rowing through a pile of wet sand. I'm replacing it with the Hurst unit so it's no big deal. Overall Rob I'm very pleased with the car. It's a huge improvement over the 03 Cobra I had. That car was a pos. I'm looking for many many miles of enjoyment out of my new GT. :happy feet:
RUFDRAFT
Man - you're gonna love the Hurst. Not for the meek, but daddy, you KNOW when you're in the next gear! Short throws - and very positive feedback. Every stoplight is a Christmas Tree!
90GT
Man - you're gonna love the Hurst. Not for the meek, but daddy, you KNOW when you're in the next gear! Short throws - and very positive feedback. Every stoplight is a Christmas Tree! Yup, that's exactly why I want one. The Hurst will be part of mod phase one. :happy feet:
RUFDRAFT
One caveat: the nuts on the shifter have been known to loosen. No big deal - just loctite 'em.
moabman
Good advice - use the color you can break and remove the nut if you need to. The permanent one can be a bear. Me likey the Hurst but me havey the auto

Me likey the Hurst but me havey the auto Nothing wrong with the auto. Just get a tune from Bamachips. Doug's specialty is the auto trans cars. I've read nothing but positive comments on how he has changed the performance of the auto trans GT's. :happy feet:
