Rag Top Day Posted March 5, 2010 Report Share Posted March 5, 2010 I know there are a bunch of Shelby people here in San Diego that want to get together so I have planned a fun little drive. We will meet Sunday March 21st at 8:00 am at North County Fair parking lot just to the right of East Via Rancho Parkway and the north bound 15 off ramp. We wil depart at 8:30 and head to the coast for a cruise down highway 101 and through La Jolla and Pacific Beach. We will end up at the Blue Pearl Cafe in Mission Bay for brunch. This will be a relaxing scenic drive down the coast so you could bring the family along if you like. There is plenty of Shelby friendly parking at the restaurant. I am going to pre run the route tommarow and make sure we have some regroup spots and good directions printed out. Karl & Tammy King Great, glad to have you along. Did a pre run today and although it was a bit wet it was a fun drive. One bridge is under construction so a slight detour. While taking notes we talked to a couple of police officers who were definite car guys. They asked if we wanted a police escort for our cruise. Told them thanks for the offer but not necessary. Rag Top Day Posted March 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2010 We are meeting at North County Fair , 272 East Via Rancho Parkway Escondido, CA 92025-8005 which is on the 15 and east Via Rancho Parkway. For those coming North bound 15 go straight in and turn right at the T and we will be in the lot on your right. For those heading South bound 15 turn take the East Via Rancho Parkway off ramp and turn right on East Via Rancho Parkway and then the first left into North County Fair and turn right at the T and we will be in the lot on your right.
