formervettowner
Went out this morning and found 4 drops of blue oil on the ground around the inside of where the right rear wheel sits. Just had springs and panhard bar installed. Any relationship? Do shocks have blue oil? The color is about the same as my car Vista blue.It does have and oil feel and smell to it. Any help. Slabo
Bearing grease is often blue. Sounds like grease from the panhard bushing or something else that was installed.
moabman
+1 on slabo's comment. Grease is really wax and oil emulsified and it is common for them to separate and the oil might drip out or off. Look at all the suspension bushings and see if you can see some blue grease or zerk fittings with some blue residual grease on them. Of course, it might also be something else. mullens
Had the same problem with my Harley. Triple clamp grease would separate and drip blue oil on my tank. That's got to be it.
6-Speed
Perhaps it is blue thread locker. I applied some under the panhard bar jam nuts when I installed mine ... helps to keep the nuts from backing off. If the tech applied an excessive amount, might potentially drip before it dries.
