brands5.0
I have been look for a set of wheels to run at the track but dont want to do all the work involved in putting a 15" wheel on the back. The stock GT 17" x 8" Wheel will fit and Mickey Thompson makes a 26.00 x 11.50-17 overall tire size is 26.5 pretty close to stock http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...mp;autoview=sku What do you think? I thought someone was making a Shelby looking wheel in 17's. That would make a nice sleeper look when you are trolling the streets.

Crossss
you can fit a 16" police car rim on also. bigger sidewall=better bite My buddy Evan just hooked up with some 16" holeshot wheels (similar to bogart or weld but less $$$) w/28" hoosier slicks and ran on them yesterday at Fontana. He called me afterwards and said they worked great. The only mod he needed to have done was get longer bolt studs on the axels b/c the stock size studs wouldn't pass tech at the track. I think he went with 3" ARP's and he had to used open ended lug nuts. This may be more work than desired for some but from what he told me it sounded like it made all the difference in the world. Here is the link to his post on svtperf for those who want to get updated when he posts his results. SVT Perf Link
