I'm already working on this for my SS out of Stainless Steel...I want to get the strut tower brace project completed first...I had one on my car and it fit fine until I put the shelby shifter on it and had to remove because there's no clearance in that area ....Reg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
woody81 Posted February 4, 2010 Report Share Posted February 4, 2010 I just installed a Metco loop on my Super Snake. It went on fairly easy. I did have to unbolt the driveshaft on one end to fit the loop over it. I havent broke the driveshaft yet, so im not sure how well it will hold up. I just seen that 2kmelat posted pictures of his broken driveshaft on the gt500 mod. and tech. forum. I am now worried if mine breaks in the same spot the loop wont work properly. Check out metcomotorsports.com. Item #MDL2005F. $150 There is a great picture of it on the website. No holes to drill. Just bolt it on. I suggest trying Steeda part # 555-5076 from blowbyracing.com $230 I'd like to see one installed. It looks like it might be more fuctionable.
