MECH
Hope mine lasts, but $100 for a new insert every couple years won't piss me off too bad.... guess time will tell! Yes, I have been considering just ordering new ones? I think I will take the current ones off and sand down the front face and use a good self-etching primer and then paint them flat black with a rattle can? I have been curious as to how they might look in flat black anyway? By the way, since I hadn't mentioned it, the car looks fantastic. I like the stripes extending down on the splitter. jmn444
I think flat would look good too, almost a factory look probably.
RACERX009
Like I have stated in my other post the canned spray paint works fantastic also holds up nicely. Every parts that I painted has held up to carwashes and the harash weather. I use Dupli-color and always use clear to protect it better.
Redlinetoys
When I saw the title of this thread I was not expecting to dig the look, but it looks GREAT! I really like the stripes and blackout grille. NICE!
