The only one I do like is the Super Snake hood but I have been unable to locate one for a 2010 model. Does anyone know where I can pick one of these up? According to what I read, that's the *KR* hood and mirror covers (and splitter/rockers). They are carbon composite and the SS hoods are fiberglass. Apples/Oranges. They just had the SS hoods for the '07-'09 on sale so I'll *assume* that at some point they will sell a SS/KR *style* hood for the '10+ MY. FWIW, you can still get the SS hoods, just not on sale. I'm waiting to see what SAI says. Amy has already said they are (thinking about?) planning to make a KR *style* fiberglass hood for the 2010+ models so that's what I suspect the answer will be. They did say that in previous years it took about 8 months from the production of the current year until it was made available. I have been checking all over the place for the past three months and finally found this company on ebay. Wrote them an email and they said that they order their hoods, etc...straight from Shelby. Since Shelby is slow to put stuff up on their homepage/store I ordered my hood thru these guys. I think their approval rating was 98.2. The salesman wasn't sure if they used the 05-09 extractors, so he said he would check and get back to me. Well today he called back and said the he talked to Shelby and the heat extractors are part of the 2010 hood, but the hood is not available yet and they have no idea when it will be available. Daren I just got a refund from BMC Extreme Customs in my account today with a letter saying that Shelby will NOT be supplying the Super Snake hood to ANY distributors until further notice. So that really sucks that we purchase $50,000 vehicles and then hamstrung on being able to modify them to our liking, hehe...Hopefully the aftermarket will catch up to the car soon since it has been out for about 10 months now.
