6707Shelby
I was told by a dealer today that there were 2100 Dealers nationwide. Assuming all dealers will get a Shelby by association, thats 2100 units. How many SVT Dealers are there? Assuming they will get the majority of the GT500s. I am aware of the original allocation plan , but if you split the production by all dealers , you are talking about 5 units each. Any other type of allocation would only mean existing SVT dealer would get more than 5. Perhaps the 2100 dealer number is incorrect?
kaylan1521
You're forgetting the cars coming North of the border. Not that many but assuming each SVT dealer gets 12 cars that totals 288 cars.
KingCobra
I'm sure I remember Five O saying there was about 4000 Ford dealerships in the US. I know Canada is only likely to receive about 300 units!!! Well.....299, once you take mine out of the equasion. :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet: KingCobra. 5.4 Shelby
keep in mind that there are hundreds of dealers that are truck only or live in truck country and have no interest in selling/servicing a 500hp Mustang.

5.4 Shelby
Slim pick'ins my friend!!! KingCobra. Numbers per dealership will be lower, but, total production is still large. It just may mean calling/visiting more dealers. I got frustrated with the big SVT dealer and called 3 small town dealers in my area yesterday. They were all getting one car. Only one of them said his was sold. The other 2 did not even have a buyer yet. Keep looking, you will find a car eventually. $10 or 15k buys a lot of time, phone calling and traveling to find the car.
KingCobra
Very true, and I agree. The car, and MSRP can be had, but the price will be legwork and time. KingCobra.
