We are taking a brand new 2010 Mustang GT and adding some of the popular bolt on parts we supply at JLT, like Redline Tuning Hood lifters, CPC strut covers, CPC brake and batter covers and of course a JLT intake and custom tune.

Next up, Horsepower!

We strapped it on the Dynojet dyno and made a few base line pulls. We data logged the car with SCT’s Live Link software to monitor spark, fuel trims, air temps and coolant temps.

We made 2-3 pulls at every stage of testing to ensure accurate and equal readings. Stock, the car responded with 247 RWHP and 258-260 RWTQ, while this may seem low, remember it’s through an automatic. The Air Fuel ratio was very lean up to 3800 rpm then drops to very rich as you can see if the graph.

We then swapped out the factory “cold” air intake for JLT’s new fiberglass Cold Air Intake. These are huge free flowing, light weight tubes, that are painted in your cars exact body color. JLT uses a HUGE 110mm MAF sensor housing and extra large S&B 4.5” x 9” Powerstack air filter. Install is simple, but let’s go over the basics.

Unbolt the stock airbox, loosen the clamp at the throttle body, unhook the PVC line at the valve cover and remove from the car.

You need to unbolt the power steering tank and rotate it 180 degrees and bolt it on to the fan should using the factory hardware.

Using a regular screw driver, undo the clamp holding the engine sound tube to the diaphragm and remove hose.

Install JLT heat shield using factory bolt and JLT intake assembly onto throttle body.

Use supplied hose to connect the PCV connections and plug in the MAF.

Here is the dyno graph from this test. As you can see both stock runs are near the same as well as the after runs. This is to show one wasn't a fluke, high or low.

We have 3 different CAI kits available for the 2010 Mustang GT to cover all consumers.

The CFCAI-FMG-10 is our top of the line, real Carbon Fiber free flowing CAI kit. The high tech and quality of carbon fiber at a very fair price!

For those who like the design of our carbon fiber kit but want it color matched to your car’s color, we have the FPCAI-FMG-10. This is a fiber glass version of our Carbon Fiber kit that is prepped and painted in your cars exact body color.

See pics above

For those with a budget in mind and mostly looking for the HP, we have the CAI-FMG-10. This includes an intake tube made of heat resistant plastic painted to your body color.
