LASAAC Holiday Party - December 5th (noon til ?)

It's time for our annual holiday party - Saturday, December 5th. The fun will get underway around noon and run until the food and drink are gone. As always, the party will be held at Steve and Chris's shop, Check Point Automotive, located at 3906 Grand View Blvd. in West Los Angeles (one block south of Venice and one block east of Centinela).

And as with years past and in the spirit of the holidays, everyone must bring at least one unwrapped toy to help the Club continue to support the LAPD Pacific Division's annual holiday toy drive which benefits underprivileged families in the local community (feel free to bring an armful of toys). Over the last few years the Club has been able to contribute hundreds of toys to this very worthy cause. As a result, a representative of the Pacific Division was at our November club meeting and presented the Club with a good-looking Certificate of Recognition for our efforts. They've also invited us to stop by the actual toy give-away this year (I believe on the 19th) to see just what a difference these toys make in the kids' lives.

So, lots of food, lots of drink, lots of cool cars and helping support a very worthy cause. See you there!

I was thinking about bringing an unwrapped woman to the party, but if it's a toy you want then so be it.
