strong_j Posted November 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 22, 2009 wow that motor looks beast!!! what problem did you run into with the 8.5 cr?? and another question since im doing this myself and this is my first mustang engine i get to take out and rebuild is there any manuals, dvd's or tips yall can think of?? all my friends drive imports so thats all i have worked on, and the extra 4 cyclinders are alittle intimidating. lol. and what kind of 8 bolt flywheels are yall running?? thx for all y'alls help and opinions the short block should be coming in acouple of weeks so ill post pics of the build. GT500-07 Posted November 22, 2009 Report Share Posted November 22, 2009 Had a problem with the whole Techco engine, it was junk. Ripped it apart and went with all new forged internals and stage II heads and cams and uped the CR. The reason behind the upping the CR is, if the Techco blower gives me any more problems its coming off and TT's will be going on.
