I got in touch with the original owner, and he said he moved it so it didn't interupt the airflow to the CAI. I know that was the reason on the 2010, but not sure if it matters on the 08. The weather hasn't been nice lately so I've left it where it was. Seems like on the only sunny day we've had since I bought it, i can't help but drive it.
