Raceskinz/SPP Rear Seat Delete

Recommended Posts

Has anyone onboard here had the Raceskinz/Shelby rear seat delete kit installed? I am seriously considering this route, another means of closing the loop between the modern SGT and the mid-sixties GT-350.

I know, I know....the last discussion on this kit got a little rowdy because of the manufacturer's pricing. The last thing I want is to return to that. But just as a matter of interest, I got an estimate from a local custom interior jobber here on the Island for essentially the same work, and his price price came up amazingly close. (Then again...mebbe he's tapped into the Raceskinz web site!

In any event, price discussions aside, I'd really like some feedback from someone with the Shelby-branded kit. With similar pricing, that fact - the Shelby connection - could be the tipping point provided the owner is satisfied.

I think I also read somewhere that the kits were being made part of some GT-500 upgrades...is that true? Maybe the guys over there have some info.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey, I found a company that is having a pre-Black Friday sale on Raceskinz parts. They have the Rear Seat Delete w/ Styling Bar for 42% off and Carbon Fiber stripe kits 30-35% off! And ready for this.....they have the Carbon Fiber Rockers as well!! I know, I know, I'm getting a little too excited. But with today's economy we all need to find deals and when we do let's share them with like minded folk. Here's the link.

the only way to get the Alcoa wheels with SS on them is to buy the entire SS package, they are 20" wheels. The KR wheels are 18". You can buy the 20" Alcoa wheels (same as the SS wheel but with out the SS) from SPP.

Nice find......thanks. I'm checking further.

(Oddly, their kit price with the "roll bar" is cheaper than the kit without the bar!)
