mywickedshelby Posted October 20, 2009 Report Share Posted October 20, 2009 Just wanted to extend an invitation to any Team Shelby members and all local lurkers to come out and join a great local Mustang club. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8pm at the VFW post on Route 10 in Whippany New Jersey. (Right off I-287) The club is a great mix of the young and the old cars we love.........plenty of beautiful new generation Mustangs and plenty of beautiful vintage Mustangs too. It is more of a family than just a car club, not just the typical bunch of guys doing car stuff together, but rather a consistent mix of husband, wives and kids all joining together to have fun together in the greatest car culture in the world.......Mustangs! We organize several major car shows in New Jersey, participate in many others, have cruises and cruise nights just about every night of the week in season, support local townships by coming out together with our cars in local Holiday parades, (Memorial Day, July 4th, Hambeltonian Day, Columbus Day) and raise money for charities in the process. mywickedshelby Posted November 11, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 11, 2009 Our next general meeting is November 18, 2009 at the VFW on Rt.10 West in Whippany at 7:30pm It will be the 200th Meeting of the Garden State Region Mustang Club. It is also our Pot Luck Dinner Night, where members each bring a dish of food to share with everyone. The Club will provide dessert. It is also our Toys for Tots Night and all members are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for donation. A representative of the US Marines will be on hand to collect the toys (and fill his SUV, last year over 400 toys were donated!) We would love to have you join us for celebration.
