The tech told me that they just replace the whole tranny is that how everyone is getting done?

The tech told me that they just replace the whole tranny is that how everyone is getting done? No the TSB does not address replacing the tranny. I believe the latest TSB instructs the tech to do a few preliminary checks to evaluate whether they need to go in and replace the synchros. Otherwise they just replace the flywheel and clutch.
