Bruce49 Posted November 21, 2014 Report Share Posted November 21, 2014 Funny you mention that. I've noticed a 'flood' of KR's for sale recently. Always looking at this model and a few others. I've seen a commercial just this week of the 2016 Mustang Shelby GT350 with HP a little under a stock GT500. Regardless of how many Shelby's are made (even a GT500), Hell they may even call it a KR, it will never be one like ours that was built under the watchful eyes of Carroll Shelby himself. After using KW V3's, upgraded bushings, an UCA and LCA's finishing it off with a D/A panrod it handled really well. A set of Conti DW's completed the suspension. I have no plans to change my suspension, I even have spare set (NIB) for later on down the road. My mods will be limited to the interior, rockers and eventually a period KR correct TVS and perhaps the six piston brakes as offered in the up fitter package. AK. I have an '07 40th and might be looking to add to the stable. I have seen a couple of KR's up for sale, but would be most interested in an '08 KR 40th. Any information is appreciated. I guess the pre-title production of the '08s made it a little less appealing then in 2007, when you had to get the package post title to get the 40th Anniversary badging.
