zhodd
I have seen a couple threads around the intertubes talking about it but I am wondering how widespread this one is. Looking at the front of the car - the left side of my hood doesn't sit as flush as the right side - I would say by a quarter inch or not a little more. I haven't had a chance to roll up the sleeves and really take a look at what is going on but I imagine it's a simple fix. Anyone else have something similar on their car? ChrisSD
Mine is the same. I cannot fix with the bumpstops. My car has way worse problems than this so I have just let that one pass.
Baby Gorilla
Mine is about the same as you describe. A little annoying but subtle and not a big deal. I'm sure I'll fix it one of these days.

I tried to fix with the bumper stops but was not able. I think that the nose needs to come up. If you fix yours please tell me how it was repaired, so I can do mine. Thanks. What might bug me is if they fix it does it throw the stripes off

Baby Gorilla
This is the driver's side. Gap is about 3/16" This is the passenger's side. Gap is about 1/8 - 5/16" The hood is flush with the front fascia in the vertical plane, and the stripes line up perfectly. I'm probably going to leave it as is for now. In my experience, trying to fix very minor things like this actually end up causing more, new problems than they solve.

2010 Grabber Blue Shelby
I went to a car show tonight and I saw one where the hood was up past the nose, but on both sides, not just one side. It was a white car with stripe delete and less noticeable.

I haven't really went around and measured things like this...just been enjoying the car as a whole.

Yeah, this is not something I would have noticed, except that others had mentioned it. It's so powerful and so f'ing fun to drive, I think I'll let this MINOR imperfection slide. OneTrickPony
My hood sits flush its just the gap between the hood and front facsia that are off just a little. The gap on the left side is just a little wider than the right side.
zhodd
I actually tightened down the rubber bumpstops on the one side of the hood and now it's just about perfect. So no big deal
