gth0007
I just installed a later model 302 block in my 1965 Mustang. The alternator mounting hole in the block is much too big for the 1965-69 alternator bolt (the long upper bolt). Is there some sort of insert for the block to reduce the size back to the 1965-69 factory bolt or will I have to ream out the alternator casing, bracket and spacer to the larger size. OR will I have to get a different set of brackets all together ? HELP !!
