I've had it for about a month now, and finally got around to taking pics... not that that matters since it's bone stock and i'm pretty sure you've all seen a black sgt by now :)

Congratulations and welcome to the exclusive SGT owner club. A good picture of a SGT never gets old. Still one of the sweetest looking mustangs. Enjoy it.

Thanks everybody!

I didn't realize how much there is to improve on my '68 till I drove the SGT for a month... just got in the '68 this last weekend and it honestly scared me a bit! I think it's going to get some tlc/upgrades in the steering/suspension/braking departments!

And Berg, that "gas cap" that apparently you designed is going to be my 1st "mod"... working on lining up a steering wheel emblem to match before I order, but you absolutely nailed it with that design!

Well, 7 months later, and I'm pretty much done cosmetically, nothing too drastic changed, but I know I searched all over for pics of other peoples mods at times, so thought I'd post up the finished product...

Nice upgrades.......

How do you like the 1/4 window covers? I would like to get a set but am wondering about losing some visibility.... Lately when I am driving around I look out of the 1/4 window and wonder what it would be like if it was blocked off. I guess you just get used to it, and I sure like the way they look.

Laurence, The qtr window plates were the first things I loved about Roger @ SAI's car when I first saw it, came back from vegas and had this car about 10 days later, so my mindset was such that visibility just didn't matter.... they definitely kill some visibility though, but I've also always used my mirrors more than physically turning to look, so it wasn't that bad for me... just takes some getting used to I guess. Just keep in mind that you really can't use your driver side qtr window for anything, so if you can live without that, you can certainly live without the pass side too!

the interior panels are sold separately for like $20ish for the pair... you will def. want them, otherwise you see all the double sided tape from the outside panels. I'm assuming you are getting the silver ones for your car, but I want to mention that I painted mine to match the car, the black versions come as a satin finish, and I wanted shiny... it was a BITCH to keep the rivets silver, i literally went around and wiped off the black basecoat after each coat, then cleared the whole thing... good luck! OH, I also had one corner of one of the panels that didn't stick well, I ended up squirting a little 2 part epoxy thru one of the rivet holes to keep it stuck to the glass... not a big deal, but you may want to add more tape (even though it looks like MORE than enough!) before putting them on!
