Son of GT
It's going to be a wet sump, all aluminum 5.4.
Maxhenry
It's going to be a wet sump, all aluminum 5.4. Do we have any reputable confirmation of a bump up in HP or torque?
Son of GT
Do we have any reputable confirmation of a bump up in HP or torque? That data won't be available until late 2010. The engine (block) is a go, but any changes to H.P. and Torque; if any, will be kept on the down low for the time being.

Five Oh B
Based upon the output of the Ford GT? You mean the under-rated Ford GT supercar that was rated at 550hp, but really made 600+ hp?

Maxhenry
So when do you think the 2011 models will be announced? And does no one think that the GT500 may need a big boost in HP due to the 5.0 going into the GT? 400 hp plus 300 lbs less = pretty close in the speed dept. no?
