blueovalkid Posted February 28, 2006 Report Share Posted February 28, 2006 I went to the Cleveland show today finally got to see the GT500! It was the White w/ Blue stripes. You really have to see the car in person to appreciate how good it looks. I was not crazy about the white though, definitely Red w/ white stripes for me. The stance of this car was perfect, it sat nice and low. I hope this is what we end up seeing in actual production. I am not sure what the huge fuss about the hood was all about. I like the way the production hood looks but that could just be me. Overall I really liked the car and I am really looking forward to seeing one in my garage someday. I have a bunch of pics that I took but I have no clue how to post them, I could try and e-mail them to someone if they want to post them. I didnt even bother asking anyone from Ford about the car. I really dont think anyone there has any idea what they are talking about. kaylan1521 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Share Posted March 5, 2006 They're awesome and they confirm that the red one in Toronto was MOST definitely a fake (I know we already knew it). In Detroit and Chicago and now Cleveland the car has had the ropes around it as it spun on a turntable. Here in Toronto we had the AWD version that was just dropped on the floor by the V6 and GT's. The Vancouver Auto Show is from March 31 - April 9, and I will most deffinately be there with my digital camera taking way too many pics from ALL angles, and will post everything. There are lots of photos out there, but there are lots of pics that have never been taken, and those are the ones that I'm after. Like the roof liner, trunk, close-ups of the leather dash and upgraded door armrests, the deck behind the back seats, etc, etc. Let me know if there are any specific shots, or questions you would like asked, and I'll get back to you after the show. KingCobra. Hopefully Vancouver will have the real McCoy and not the red AWD Toronto had. Because the one thing I did notice was that it had the seat inserts but a plastic dash.
