REVENGE
"Legendary?" The junior senator appeared out of nowhere- "legendary" my @ss. Its one of those legendary nights! The underdog came out of nowhere and wiped out the opposition! They never saw him coming! They never knew they were hit until they woke up with their backs on the canvas. :happy feet: :happy feet: Now we have Republicans making misleading threads trying to get in cheap shots. RACERX009
Liberals are afraid of Palin? What's to be afraid of? A govenor that could not name a single newspaper of her state. My little 5 year old cousin can name at least 1 newspaper and he just look at the pictures! She is nothing but a lightweight and is no threat to win anything ever again. Face it she was exposed! Palin is the best thing to happen to liberals in the last year. Without her Obama would have had a tougher fight to win the election. Sure in the beginning she helped McCain close the gap but once they stopped hiding her from the media she imploded! Big time! There is no way in hell you could look at her disastrous interviews in the weeks before the election and honestly think she did not hurt McCain big time. Of course you probably blame the "liberal" interviews for asking her softball questions that somehow still managed to befuddle her. Lemme let you in on a little secret.....Palin was a gift to the Democrats last election and if she runs again it will be very entertaining to Democrats because she is going to embarass herself repeatedly. I was upset when Dan Quayle stopped running but Palin is even more entertaining. Whatever she does wrong in my eye's she HOT!!! She probably babbles during SEX

This was the easiest election to win- all you had to do was say "Change.." and people were running to vote for it with blinders on! :fool: People who think rather than be led blindly know better than that. odgreen001
Lets cut to the chase. Obama got elected because (my assumptions here) is that 95% of all blacks voted for him, along with probably 70% of the hispanic population and then a whole lot of white liberals. In short, for the most part, folks that wanted government to do for them what they should be doing for themselves. Those who vote the democrapic ticket just want someone else to pick up the tab. I'm sure that's not the case for all, but I do believe that in general it is true. I welcome all comments and thoughts on this. Feel free to speak your mind and NOT be politically correct. And just so you know, the only reason I voted for McCain, was that he was the lesser of two evils. He is too liberal for me.

JeffIsHereToo
This post indicates to me that you believe that only racists voted against Obama, and that is calling me a racist. I find this reprehensible, and call on the moderators to do something about it. I have read his poorly worded post over and and over and I don't think that's what he said. DDT was responding, perhaps not well, to odgreen001's post where he breaks down the election on racial lines and writes "I welcome all comments and thoughts on this. Feel free to speak your mind and NOT be politically correct." Having said that, I think odgreen001's post was unfortunate, though make no mistake, as was DTT's response. But if you guys are going to go off on one another all the time shooting from the hip and throwing claims and counter claims around. You better either get a thick skin or do as I did and decide not to play in this sandbox anymore. You guys are getting increasingly hot and heavy in these discussions and I would recommend my retreat out of here as a great way to lower your blood pressure and stay focused on things that really matter. As I said, I don't think, and sincerely hope, that DDT didn't mean to infer that you cast your vote based upon race or that you're a racist, because I certainly don't think that's true and I hope he clarifies this remarks and everyone reflects on how words can be taken. Something I have to work on myself more often than I might like to admit. DDT?

DDT
Jeff is right; You dudes need to tough up.......... I have been attacked and called names on this forum before and I have not whined to the moderators and yes I have called out some here and resorted to name calling but do not take it serious as I make it a point not to.......... You all may notice that most my comments are set up as questions and when you think about it.........None of us are completely innocent of "RACISM"............ However never talking about it or hiding it only tends to promote it????????????? So as they say........."DONT DISH IT OUT IF YOU CANT TAKE IT"?????????????? odgreen001
Well like they always say... Not all Republicans are racist but if someone is racist they are most likely a Republican. I beg to differ. It is the liberals who always moan about tolerence, but it is the liberals who are least tolerent...especially intolerent for those of us on the right and our ideas. Think about the ACLU...they always defend the far left...never give a crap about anyone on the right. No my friend, it is the democrapic party (not all, but almost all) that are the real racist. odgreen001
Guys, lets face it. Some of the laws...mostly made by democraps, are racist. You've got laws made just to promote or give advantage to blacks and people of color...why is it always "blacks and people of color"? Why not just, "people of color"? Give the blacks and people of color an extra advantage to get into school, just because? Just because they are a different color then white? If that isn't racism, I don't know what is. Try to hold back a promotion, because no blacks or people of color made the grades! If that isn't racism, I don't know what is. Then we have laws against profiling. I don't hate to say this, but if the shoe fits where it. If it is middle easterners that we are afraid of blowing something up....because 90% of the people who hate this country are the ones doing it...I don't want to hear crap about not being able to profile. If blacks are more prone to commit certain crimes, then profile them. If whites are more prone to commit certain crimes, then profile them. It sort of defeats the purpose of trying to catch someone that has a tendency to commit a crime or murder, if you are not allowed to profile them. The Hate crimes laws. That laws is very transparent that it was made for the people of color and liberal loving groups, such as gays. The time has come to treat everyone fairly and accordingly. The only thing I like about Obama being elected, is that it "without doubt" shows that we have come a very long way at leveling the field for every minority. So, minorities, start living up to your potential on your own two feet and take responsibility if you stumble....stop blaming the white man. Had to add this as well: And all you liberals out there, that are constantly looking for handouts from the government...get off your @$$es and be responsible for yourself and your families. Times are tough for everyone that isn't a 100 thousandaire or millionaire. Stop sucking the tit of the government and looking for handouts. No, you don't deserve it, just because of this or that. You need to work for it and earn it. Those that depend on (that don't need to depend on) or just want the government to provide something to them, can't see past their noses. Initially they'll get some, but eventually they'll have very little. Proof is in the pudding of which groups always try ride on the backs of others....just look at who votes the liberals in. We already know the liberal politicians are always promising this and that to the people. So just look at the people who are voting for them. Those same folks are lazy and just want to ride the backs of those who aren't. If the shoe fits, where it.
odgreen001
Rember this. The constitution doesn't guarantee your right to be rich, it guarantees the right for you to "work hard" to become rich. Just got too many people that think it is a right or is owed to them. Bunch of sorry folks looking for handouts.

How can I repsect these people who ignore all the REAL stories about cheating Republicans BUT create threads about FAKE issues involving President Obama? President Obama! Has a nice ring to it right? :happy feet: Yes, lets discuss. The guy screwed up, down and all around. He is supposed to be held to a higher standard...he knows that. His character is now in question. He should step down, and if he doesn't, then the folks in SC should not re-elect them. But in all likelyhood, he won't step down, but probably won't get re-elected. And guess what...he is a white republican, so according to some on this forum, was probably only elected by white republicans...so in the end, there is a good chance he won't get re-elected. Can't say that very often (probably not at all) for voters on the left. Clinton got re-elected amid all his scandals. Marion Barry got re-elected. Some guy who they found like 70 or 90k in his freezer, Wrangler, our financial guru who didn't seem to know why or how he missed paying his taxes. The list fricken goes on and on. It isn't the republicans voting or re-voting those people back into office.
odgreen001
A question to the blacks on the forum. Why do you consider Obama black? Question for the whites on this forum. Why do you consider Obama black? Question for the latina / hispanic folks. Do you consider Obama black? I'd ask the asian folks, but I don't think they really give a crap....but any asians out there, speak out. The fact is, he's a mix of black and white. Since I've asked the question, I'll just give my thoughts on it, but am really interested in everyones. I think he's considered black because of several reasons....none of them factual of course. Because he looks black, when he was a child, he was less accepted by the white community and more readily accepted by the black community. Therefore he grew up in the black community and is widely accepted as being black....even though he is actually 1/2 white. Remember, his childhood was in the 60s and 70s...still a turbulent time between blacks and whites.
