I think Arizona is looking bad, as Honeywell, who was once the largest private employer here, ships all of its aerospace production to malaysia, china, czech republic, and mexico by the end of this year. This was coming long before the new administration, and is simply a short-term appeasement of Wall Street. There goes THOUSANDS of technical and well-paying jobs that Americans WANT TO DO! The Boeing 787 is a prime example of the crap that comes out of these countries. It's over two years behind schedule, and they cannot acquire enough good parts to make one airplane airworthy. What you don't get is that all this so called corporate greed is all coming from the government! It is the government getting involved with the private sector that caused this mess! One needs to look no further than government that is the cause behind everything. Let me know how you like paying 300% more for everything you buy in the near future if they cram this tax hoax called cap & trade through! More government causing more problems! Obama himself stated that if his plan is passed, electric bills would "necessarily skyrocket". He actually used the term SKYROCKET. He's on record as saying that he wants to put the coal industry out of business. This new bill actually has a compensation package built into it for all the people that will lose their jobs as a result of the bill. They KNOW it will kill jobs. They also know it will drive up all energy costs for the consumer. That is why most of the harshest components of the bill do not take effect until AFTER the 2010 elections. Also, the 350 extra pages of the bill that were released at 3:00 A.M. the other day include provisions requiring that all homes must be in compliance with some type of new energy efficiency standard prior to sale. Imagine you are trying to sell your home but have to spend 10K-20K before the government allows you to sell your own property. This bill is an economy killer.
