twobjshelbys
Yesterday a fellow Lyons-ite called me at work. The Steamers are in Estes Park. Wanna go? So we met at the local gathering place. I was going to drive the Cobra but it was threatening rain, so we took a spirited drive up to Estes in the SGT. It was fun. Here are pictures of real bona fide Stanley Steamers. 10 at a time... stump_breaker
Great Pics. I love those old cars but, my gosh at all the valves and tubing! We went on a charity bike run - in the SGT of course - and one of our friends entered his model T. I had to follow him at blazing speeds (sarcasm off) about 3/4 of the way until it finally overheated so bad it gave up the ghost in Dallas traffic. Packing 5 full grown people in a Mustang is, well, an experience to say the least.
