I’ve finally figured out the Obama economic strategy. President Barack Obama and his team have been having so much fun wielding dictatorial power while rescuing “failed” firms, that they have developed a scheme to gain the same power over every business. The plan is to enact policies that are so anticompetitive that every firm needs a bailout. Once that happens, their new pay czar Kenneth Feinberg can set the wage for everybody and Rahm Emanuel can stack the boards of all of our companies with his political cronies.

Laugh all you want. They have taken over GM and Chrysler and forced them into bankruptcy and violated the constitution by giving the companies to the UAW while shafting the secured bond holders. The government has owned Amtrack since about 1972 and it has NEVER turned a profit. They will tell these companies what to build and when we do not buy the little crap boxes they will use taxpayer money to provide incentives and rebates. They will make it almost free to buy one of these crappy cars and they will try to put Ford out of business. They have taken over the banking industry and are just now "allowing" some of the banks to pay back the tarp money which will be put in a slush fund for further bailouts. They are now going for complete control of the health care system and are going to force people to buy health insurance even if they do not want it or can not afford it. There are about 20 of these so called Czars who answer to nobody. They are taking measures to try to control the media as well. They are printing money so we can buy our own debt securities. There is just too much to list and they are doing all of this with breakneck speed. By the time the people wake up it will be too late. Very scary un-American stuff.

I never listen to Rush Limbaugh except when he is on the news. I'm a registered independent and a conservative but I spend more time listening to Keith Olberman and Chris Mathews although I rarely agree with anything they say. A recent poll showed conclusively that conservatives are waaaaay more likely to listen to and consider opposing viewpoints than liberals or Democrats. I also watch Lou Dobbs every day because he is very even handed in the way he presents things and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the economy (degree in economics from Harvard and was host of "Money Line"). I also watch Glenn Beck. Among liberals he has a reputation as a right wing wacko but he really is not and I doubt whether his detractors ever actually watch his show. He presents reasoned arguments that make sense and backs them up with data as well as prominent guests on his show including liberals and Democrats.

It's right out of Saul Alinsky's playbook. If your enemy does something right, take credit for it. If you do something wrong, blame your enemy for it. Obama taught the Alinsky method in college. Hillary did her thesis on the guy. Michelle Obama quoted him in campaign speeches. If you want to know how Obama thinks just read what his mentor said. Here are a few below:

All thanks to government regulations that was the root cause behind this entire financial crisis. Remember, had government never gotten involved with the private sector, forcing regulation on the banks, forcing them to make all those bad loans, forcing then to come out with all those crazy loan programs just to force more loans, none of this would have happened in the first place. We are paying a big price for the house of cards that Clinton built.
