AlloyDropTop
Any tips on how to do a good burn out Depends on what you drive. If it is a wrong wheel drive import, set the parking brake, rev to 8K, dump the clutch. If it is a AWD sport untility, fugetaboutit..... If it is GT500, just give it gas, nothing else really matters. If it won't break traction in first and second gear without trying, return to the dealer as something must be wrong with it.
portside
Any tips on how to do a good burn out A line lock really helps lessen wear and tear on your clutch and brakes. Plus, it allows large smoky burnouts while staying in one place (like drag racers), as opposed to burnouts that go streaking across the parking lot or down the street. You can always release the lock if you want to get moving. The old foot on the gas and one on the brakes technique is very hard on the moving parts, and is a contributing cause of a lot of damaged clutches, transmissions, rear brakes, etc. Depending on your setup, 2nd gear may be a better gear than 1st.
