New Guy Checking In

Recommended Posts

Good Afternoon Gentlemen,

I have been reading the forum for awhile but just now registered. I just sold my 2009 GT500 and ordered a 2010 GT500 this past friday May 29th. I don't have any idea when the car will get here but am figuring maybe 8 weeks.

I waited about ordering a 2010 untill I could look at a new 2010 Mustang in person as I was concerned about the rear end. I was very pleased with it when I saw it in person on a GT this past week.

I loved my 2009 and I think I will enjoy the 2010 even more.

Regards

Steve

Welcome Steve. What color was the 09 and the new color for the 2010? BTW, is your user ID militray related?

Thanks for the welcome guys. The "War Eagle" stands for Auburn, no military flight time but I have restored and owned three O-1 Bird Dogs. Here is a pic of the last one I restored, painted in 183rd Aviation Company markings (Seahorses), Vietnam circa 1969-1971.

My 2009 GT500 was Red with White stripes and my 2010 will be the same.

Thanks again,

Steve

That plane looks like a hoot to fly. With your mechanical skills I suspect your Shelby will not stay stock for long. Talk with ya later.

Welcome to the forum! We've been looking forward to seeing some 2010's on here.

Especially w/ GM and Chrysler in the doldrums, Ford does need to get these cars out while they have a chance to take over the no. 1 spot!!!
