SC5.4
Having some issues with my chlorine generator for my salt water pool. Getting ready to have to possibly call someone out to diagnoise it. Anybody know any local pool repair techs or a place that can test Jandy chlorine generator cells?
RUFDRAFT
Just curious. Why would one want a salt water pool?

Fastbackman
No chemicals and much easier to maintain. You don't even notice the salt. It's nothing like the ocean as far as salt content. Just nice clean soft water.
SC5.4
Salt water pools produce liquid chlorine by low voltage DC current that powers a cell. A conrtrol panel makes it adjust how much chlorine it makes. I need to find a place that can bench test the cell to make sure it is working like it should. Bob Howells
Many unwanted items can be introduced to and can harm your pool, prevent chemical treatments from doing their job, make the water unhealthy etc. The two most important things to remember about the healthy pools are that they must be sanitized and water balance of pools should be maintained regularly. You must test your pool water on a weekly schedule.
