tomhoulihan
I just swapped out the stock rear end for some 3.73 gears on my 2009 GT500. Very worthwhile modification !! But now my speedo is off, way optimistic. Does anyone have experience with what the best tuner would be that I could use to correct my gear ratio in the speedometer now as well as tuning upgrades later? I see DiabloSport Predators, JLT, etc. -Tom
cobra 07
My SCT X3 sure does a good job on both counts
mrfarmdog
+1 Xcal seems to be the most widely used and if you get your car tuned it will most likely be by someone that uses SCT software.
VaporDude
Have you checked the manual or visit the Diablo site? I am sure it is there someplace. I have the SCT tuner for mine and it would be setup a little differently than yours.

GT500Ron
My SCT X3 sure does a good job on both counts I have the same tuner that I purchased with tune from VMP Tuning. It will do the job of changing your gear ratio
ingram4868
I believe the predominate handheld tuner on the Mustang sites is the SCT. Current product is the X3 or SF3.

tomhoulihan
Can you increase the redline, to say 6500 rpm, with the tuner? Is that advisable? -Tom
