kahmann
I ran the 66 out of gas today on HWY 50, in the middle of 6 lane traffic, rush hour. Guess it's time to get the CORRECT gas float installed. Since it was rush hour, the cars were going slowly enough so that people had time to heckle me. My favorite lines - "Hey buddy, that Ford sure does LOOK nice. Ever get it running?" "Hey man, where can I get a Mustang that goes so fast it looks like it's standing still?" "You suck!" Definitely an awesome day walking up and down the freeway! <_< Ken
kahmann
Just sold my beloved 66. I'm relieved to have the dough, but awfully depressed to see it go. Guess I've learned a whole lot through this project, mostly what not to do next time. Ken
Dans07SGT
Wow Ken I'm sorry to hear you had to sell it. It sure was a beauty. Hopefully things turn around for you soon and you can build the next one even better.
