twobjshelbys
This is the second show and fundraiser for the museum. Sign up at the show. I believe there is a minimal fee that includes admission to the museum. The museum has changed - several of their stable mates are going to the Mecum auction. Notable is the 289 FIA red Cobra (#13) and the white GT350. One of the most wonderful Cobras I ever saw is CSX2052 - a 260ci black AC car that should still be there. We're probably going on Saturday with my (daughter's boyfriend) and his (father and girlfriend). Note this is a "Powered by Ford" show - so I'll be bringing the Mustang and not the Cobra. twobjshelbys
The show was yesterday. Attached are some photos grouped by times or sequences I liked the reflection of the SAAC sticker in the mirror:
twobjshelbys
There were two Fairlaines. One had this awesome Cammer: I forgot to take a picture of the car!!! Very nice Boss
twobjshelbys
More of the cammer This was there: A '70 Cougar Eliminator
twobjshelbys
The GT350's and GT500's were mostly parked around the cul de sac. These two were parked next to each other and from the presentation style looked like they were owned by the same people:
twobjshelbys
This little red 289 Cobra is Bill Murray's. He's one of the best known restorers and he drives them too.
twobjshelbys
Every time I go into the museum I see something different. This time some stuff was moved around so there are pictures taken from different angles of cars I've posted before here. The Larry H Miller Daytona Coupe is prominently displayed, and the loop video they play was in a section with the car at a fairly recent classic race. I got a few of the car when it was in the video. One has Bob Bondurant in the screen.
twobjshelbys
This #98 CSX3032 is a "daily racer" and was driven as recently as 2007. I don't think they drove it in 2008. If I were to win Powerball and if all the cars in the museum were available for purchase like on a used car lot, this would be the second one I'd take. It Ken Miles CSX2431
twobjshelbys
The only non-Ford-based car in the place. This would be my first choice from the used car lot
twobjshelbys
So we're eating pizza for lunch and I'm finishing one piece with a Diet Pepsi and up pulls this black 66 vert. The lady gets out and chats with some friends so I had time to finish my lunch and went over and asked if she would stand next to the car. I knelt down to take the pictures and commented "What a beauty". Someone in the peanut gallery commented "Which one, the car or the chick?" My comment was "Yes!" She smiled. There was only one Tiger there this time, but a bunch of Panteras (none of which had their engines open so I didn't take many pictures. Cramming a Ford 289 into a Tiger was a feat. Some of the plugs had to be changed via access ports in the fire wall. This is the engine of another GT350 - Paxton supercharger!!! The Cougar had original ply tires! Cobra photo in the rest room! 302 in a street rod
twobjshelbys
Signed dash panels on the two GT350/GT500's I mentioned earlier (taken out of sequence and too late to go vix all the the previous ones!) Don't feel left out - I didn't take any pictures of my cars either and I had both my Cobra and Barrett Jackson SGT there! Another of the 450 Supercharger This is the guy from Cheyenne (I'm sorry I can't remember your name now, I even asked your brother!). The girls with him are Otto Werner's grand daughters who selected his car for Best Of Show! We spent so much time comparing notes that I forgot to take a picture of his car! (I have one from last year somewhere). A cool reflection of the sun off the top of my Weber air filters onto my hood
twobjshelbys
Oh, I didn't go away empty handed: This is pretty cool. Otto Werner was the owner of CSX2052 that I posted pictures of here earlier. It was a good time! Gotta run to the store to get sweet corn!

twobjshelbys
Thank you for all the pictures and the awsome expierience. Where is the place? Jeff It is between Boulder and Longmont, CO. There are more Cobras here than anywhere, except perhaps the collection at Miller Motor Sports in Salt Lake -- and several of Mr. Miller's cars are here - and Carroll Shelby's warehouse. If you are a Cobra fan, this place is not to be missed. And if you ever decide to come by please call!
