Starkie
What do you guys think of these wheels and tires? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/20-Mach-1-W...sQ5fAccessories I wanted to change out the 08 stockers, and cant seem to decide what I want. The car is red with the white stripes, so kinda limited on what will look good. I almost wanna take the stripes off and make it easy, any rim will look good, but really dont wanna mess with the stripes. Input please.....lol. jnf
Those look just like the CS 69 wheels from Shelby. Check out rttire.com. They come in regular or special editions. No 10.5 for the rear, just 10's.
FordRocks1
Those are ok but take the stripes off and slap some 360 Forged on.... http://www.360forged.com/ http://media.photobucket.com/image/360%20f...sfan67/PS10.jpg

Starkie These are good looking wheels, but I always have found it difficult to judge wheels unless I've seen it on the car first. Maybe someone on the site has pics of these on their own Shelby, which could help you judge better. As far as the tires are concerned, I bought the exact same for my Audi 3 weeks ago. I had the Toyos Proxes T1R before, which are Toyo's top of the line performance tires (more expensive, wears faster). I decided to go with the Proxes 4 this time as I thought it was a nice compromise for a sports sedan. From my experience so far, the Proxes 4 offer a good ride quality (better than the T1R) and drive well in the rain. However, with the cold weather that we have here so far this spring, I haven't really had an opportunity to test their grip on dry warm pavement. If these are anywhere close to my T1R in that regard, they should be pretty good.
chimazo
Maybe I missed something - why do you want to put Mach1 rims on your GT500?? And before you think about ordering anything from 360forged, don't. Just check out the Corvette/MB/Viper forums and you'll see a lot of unhappy customers (still) waiting MONTHS for wheels they already paid for. I saw them on a Corvette a few weekends ago. I think you'd have to have a darker car to pull them off... black probably is the only color I would try those one. I think they're also expensive... VERY expensive.

Starkie
First question is what is your price range? I would like to spend around 1500, if thats too low for decent wheels and tires then I would learn to like what I got, lol. Starkie

Starkie If $1500 is how much you'll be spending try selling the ones you got and add that to your new wheels, that's how I got mine, wait until you have a buyer and then pull the trigger-check out Craig'slist and your local mustang club and forums. Mach1cox
Starkie: I think those rims are sweet. I have not seem them before, but like the look. Don't let anyone try to talk you out of a rim you like. It's your car and your choice. I had the same reaction to the CS 69's; someone trying to say you don't put "magnums" on a Shelby. Whatever fits your eye for your car is the way to go.
nsstang
Any one think there would be a problem with putting 18x9 on the front and 18x10 on the back? Thanks RB
nsstang
.........also, some ads say that their 18x8 or 18x10 will not fit a shelby gt500. Is there something I have to watch out for when ordering rims? Thanks again RB
