Guest markham51
Japan's national jobless rate in February is 4.4%, up 0.3 percent from January. And its 70 degrees here in Wilmington. Whats your point?
JeffIsHereToo
You have to love statistics. What's not stated here is that another 330,000 people have been forcibly moved to part-time status and as such as not included in these numbers. That number is increasing every day as just a way businesses deal with the downturn in Japan. Japan will also NOT recover sooner as a majority of it's prosperity is tied to it's exports which need the other world economies to improve. Same issues China faces as manufacturer to the world. It can also be argued that Japan has NEVER recovered from their melt-down in the 1990's.
