DubbsFaris
What kind of paint do I need to use to make it stick and not peel or scratch easily?
mrfarmdog
What kind of paint do I need to use to make it stick and not peel or scratch easily? Currently PowerWheels cars are only available in red and pink (Barbie). I wanted a black PW GT500 so I found a used red one on Craig's List and painted it black with Krylon Fusion paint. In order to paint it I completely disassembled the car, washed it and scuffed all external surfaces with a Scotch Bright pad (I used the green one), then wiped it down with acetone to remove oils and a bees wax tack cloth to remove dust and painted it. I am very happy with the results! You may get some chips depending on hour rough your kids are with it but mine has held up so far with two girls!
