I'm still planning a great ride and I will be rolling out the details soon. I am also looking at arranging the cars a little differently so a few others can attend. I'm pulling the supercharger off the car this weekend and sending it back to Vortech to be rebuilt as it had a bearing failure. Turnaround time is long enough that the car won't be driveable until early June. On a positive note, the blower rebuild is covered by Vortech's warranty, so it's only costing me my time to R&R the blower and postage. Have lots of fun this year. Grabber Posted May 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 20, 2009 This Evening my son and I layed out the field. Instead of a circle we did 2 Squares. The cars are spaced on 10 foot centers. Each car is about 7 feet wide...so this allows 3 feet between each car. The lay out of these 2 squares holds 57 cars. I could make room for many more for future events if this grows. Grabber Posted May 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 20, 2009 Here is a video of the current lay out plans for all the cars that will be parking in my 1/2 acre field for the Meet & Greet. Currently there are about 50 cars coming. I have 56 stalls laid out. Exterior Square holds 34 cars. Interior Square holds 22 cars. Total: 56 cars (a few extra if needed) The cars will be 3 feet apart from each other and there is a 6 foot space between the front bumper of the outer square to the back bumper of the interior square.
