So i plan to visit the Shelby factory, museum, corner cafe, and the Las Vegas Int. Speedway :happy feet: Do you have any other ideas about things to do My biggest request is that I wanna rent a car for 3 - 4 days in Vegas, and as a good and proud Shelby owner, I want to rent a GT-H, convert. I checked on the Hertz Website but I only find the normal mustang conv. So and here's the point where I wanna ask all of you if you know where and how, i can rent a GT-H convert. during my vacation in Vegas. I thank you in advance for your help and for all information and ideas that you will send me. Greetings from Luxembourg. :beerchug:

svtkeith
I'd rather try the Ferrari 360 or the Lamborgini. :happy feet:

If I would have had more time in Jan I would have for sure. I will do it next time. Chris
ejrail
We have been going to Vegas 2-3 times a year for several years now. We aren't much for gambling. I'd rather use my $$ for goodies for my SGT. :happy feet: In the down economy, the casinos and hotels are offering all kinds of good deals on rooms, food and entertainment. I get offers in the mail all of time since I signed up for everybodys players club cards. The only thing we fould out several months ago when we went was that some of the attractions have different hours of operation than they have posted or listed in the travel guides. They tend to be closed early in the week or are only open for the week end crowd now. You should check out the shark aquarium at Mandalay Bay. It is very reasonable at about $16 per person, self guided so you can see it at your leisure. Also, you should go to Hoover dam and Lake Meade. The drag strip across from Shelby has weekly events to see the local cars run. The Siren pirate show in front of Treasure Island id good and free. Just get there at least 1/2 hour before the showtime. Some of the shows at the V Theater at the Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood aren't bad. You can usually go to the Half Price Tickets locations on the Strip and get good seats for cheap. If you want to spend more $$, just about any music group who is anybody usually has a concert in Vegas during the year. Check out your favorite group's web site for a tour schedule. The last time I bought some parts from Shelby Performance, I was taking to the sales rep about SGTs being a rare car. He said there is a car dealer near them in Henderson that has a quite a few SGTs and GT-H for sale. Maybe they would know where you could rent one, if they sold any to a local rental company. You certainly won't go wrong with your trip to Shelby. I went twice while we were there last trip! :happy feet: Enjoy your trip
mywickedshelby
Crusing thru Red Rocks, The Valley Of Fire and a trip to the dam are all great. The Imperial Hotel has a great car collection to see. The Fountains at the Bellagio (if you've never been to the Strip). The Shelby Tour starts at their factory every weekday at 10:30am, that is a great time. (Speedway Blvd. 15 minutes North of the Strip) have a great time!
