Car stolen in Perry County

A black 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT with silver racing stripes and Pennsylvania registration FSG9692 was was stolen from a property in the first block of Stone Lane in Wheatfield Township between 2 and 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to state police at Newport.


The thieves arrived in a light-colored SUV and both vehicles were last seen traveling east on Route 274 toward Duncannon. Police ask anyone with information to contact them at 567-3110.

That's farm country...surprised. Not like the car isn't going to stick out!



wow, that is crazy. My wifes parrents live in Perry County, as well as my Dad. He moved there a few years back to retire. Nice area. And you are right, that car would stick out bigtime. I cant believe that someone out there even knows what it is...

I live about 50 miles north of there. If you go south of Duncannon it is only about an hour drive to Balitmore/Washington DC area and about an hour and a half to Philly. A couple of good places for a car to get lost.
